Rider Switch at Magic Kingdom

When your child can't ride due to height, ask for Rider Switch at the ride entrance. One adult waits with the child while the rest of the party rides. Then the waiting adult rides without going back through the standby line, and one more person from the party can ride with them. Rider Switch is offered at most attractions with a height requirement, at no extra cost.

Yes. Cast members use official measurement boards at ride entrances. There is no rounding. If your child is borderline, get measured at Guest Services when the park opens before committing to long queues.

Rider switch lets one adult stay with a child who doesn't meet the requirement while the other adult rides. The waiting adult then boards without standing in the full line again. Ask at any ride entrance where rider switch is available.
