Rope drop: Kilimanjaro Safaris

Rope drop the safari for maximum animal activity. Head straight to Africa. It's the largest land in Animal Kingdom.

  3. 3Zootopia: Better Zoogether! (gentle indoor Tree of Life Theater show)

Lunch

Satu'li Canteen (Pandora, excellent food, beautiful setting)

Satu'li Canteen is the best quick-service in Animal Kingdom: build-your-own grain and noodle bowls, and the cheeseburger steamed pod for picky eaters. It takes mobile order in the My Disney Experience app.

Afternoon plan

  4. 4Festival of the Lion King (covered theater, incredible live show)
Pro tip: Festival of the Lion King runs multiple times daily and is genuinely spectacular: acrobats, dancers, fire performers. Perfect for preschoolers.

Avatar Flight of Passage at dusk with lower crowds is a great opportunity. Lightning Lane in the morning; standby in the late afternoon.

Pro tip
Animal Kingdom closes earlier than the other parks, usually at 6 or 7pm, so always check the closing time. On dates it stays open after dark, the Tree of Life awakenings projection show runs every 10–15 minutes in the evening and is not to be missed.
