Morning plan

  1. 1Kilimanjaro Safaris
  2. 2Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail (immediately after — animals still active)
  3. 3Avatar Flight of Passage (Lightning Lane or remaining rope drop opportunity)
  4. 4Na'vi River Journey

Lunch

Tiffins Restaurant

Tiffins is Disney World's most art-forward restaurant — three rooms themed to specific exploration destinations, each with unique artwork. The food quality is among the best in all of Disney World. Book 60 days ahead.

Afternoon plan

  1. 1Expedition Everest
  2. 2Maharajah Jungle Trek
  3. 3Festival of the Lion King
  4. 4Festival of the Lion King (world-class live show, check showtimes)

Pro tip: Adults who appreciate wildlife find the walk-through trails as rewarding as the rides. Schedule 45 minutes for both the Gorilla Falls and Maharajah treks.

Dinner

Tiffins or Yak & Yeti

Evening plan

  1. 1Pandora at dusk — bioluminescence viewing
  2. 2Avatar Flight of Passage evening ride
  3. 3Tree of Life awakenings (projection show, several times per evening)

The Tree of Life projection shows run every 10–15 minutes in the evening. Multiple stories are told — stay for at least two cycles.

Lightning Lane priorities

  • 1.Avatar Flight of Passage

The Wild Africa Trek ($150–220) is the best premium experience in all of Disney World for adults — a small-group, 3-hour trek with ropes courses over hippo pools and a private savanna picnic. Worth every dollar.
