Yes, worth the wait
Rise of the Resistance is arguably the most technically ambitious attraction ever built. Multiple vehicles, full-scale AT-ATs, and Kylo Ren himself make this a 20-minute experience that feels nothing like a traditional ride. It's worth any reasonable wait. The biggest mistake guests make is skipping it to avoid the line.
When is the best time to ride?
Rope drop directly to Galaxy's Edge or Lightning Lane purchased as soon as your booking window opens.

Lightning Lane is strongly recommended for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
This is a Lightning Lane Single Pass ride, sold separately (recently $20–24 per person, varying by day of the week). Disney Resort hotel guests can buy it 7 days before check-in; other guests can buy it 3 days before their visit. On busy days it can sell out before the park opens, so buy it as soon as your window opens.
