How ParkSwiz guides are made
What each number in a park guide is, where it comes from, and what it is not.
Wait times
Posted standby waits, sampled every hour and every 15 min through the morning, since June 2026. Our history starts in June 2026, so it does not yet cover a full year.
Crowd levels
Low, moderate, high and peak are editorial calls. We set them for each park and month from drivers that are public and repeat every year: school calendars, federal holidays, and how each park operates. We also measure crowd levels from our own wait history, and a measured level replaces the editorial one only after it clears an evidence bar. No park and month has cleared that bar yet, so every crowd level you see today is editorial.
Weather
Typical Orlando averages for the month. The same at every park, and not a forecast. Check a forecast in the week before you travel.
Events
Dates come from Disney's published calendar. Confirm on Disney's site before you book around one.
Review
The copy written for one park in one month (the summary, the pros and cons, the pro tip) is reviewed by a person before it is published. A guide says "Reviewed by ParkSwiz research" only when that review happened. Until it has, the guide shows our resort-wide notes for the month and makes no such claim.
