Soarin' vs Mission: Space

These are very different simulators. Soarin' is a gentle hang-glider flight in front of an 80-foot dome screen, with a 40-inch minimum (for now it shows Soarin' Across America, a limited-time film over U.S. landscapes); its motion is mild, but Disney still warns guests prone to motion sickness. Mission: SPACE Orange Mission (the intense version, 44-inch minimum) is a genuine centrifuge that spins to create real G-forces and is not suitable for those with heart conditions, high blood pressure, claustrophobia, or motion sickness. Mission: SPACE also runs a Green Mission (40-inch minimum) that does not spin. Soarin' for families; Mission: SPACE Orange for thrill seekers who've always wanted to feel like an astronaut.
