Return to Queue — Frequently Asked Questions
What is Return to Queue at Disney World?
Return to Queue allows guests with a disability-related need to step out of a conventional queue and return later without losing their spot. It's intended for situations where a guest needs to leave the queue suddenly — for example, due to a medical episode, sensory overload, or restroom emergency. You get it by speaking to a Cast Member in the queue.
How is Return to Queue different from DAS?
DAS gives you a return time so you never enter the standard queue at all — you wait somewhere else and return when it's your time. Return to Queue requires you to enter the standard queue first and then leave if needed. It's most useful for guests whose needs arise unpredictably during a wait rather than consistently making queue waits impossible.
Do I need to register in advance for Return to Queue?
No. Return to Queue is handled on a per-attraction basis by Cast Members in the queue. You do not need to pre-register or visit Guest Relations. Simply explain your situation to a Cast Member in the queue and they will assist you.
